Negombo is a vibrant coastal gateway with golden shores that is ideal for beach relaxation and oceanfront seafood dinning. Alternatively, guests can explore majestic Dutch-era churches, bustling open-air fish markets and scenic mangrove canals via relaxing boat tours.
Travel to Sigiriya, home to the world-famous rock fortress. Along the way visit Pinnawala elephant orphanage where orphaned elephants are cared for and Dambulla cave Temple famous for intricate rock murals and panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

Start the day with a sunrise hike up Pidurangala rock to catch first light breaking over the horizon and enjoy sweeping 360-degree views of the surrounding jungle. After the sunrise hike explore iconic Sigiriya rock fortress to explore the ancient ruins, water gardens and famous frescos. Finish off the day with an afternoon safari at Minneriya national park where guests can witness wild Asian elephant herds in their natural habitat.

On your way to Kandy visit Nalanda Gedige and a tropical spice garden. Upon arrival in Kandy visit the sacred Temple of the tooth relic (Dalada Maligawa) and finish the day off with a traditional Kandian dancing show.

Travel further up the center of the country into the colonial town of Nuwara Eliya. Visit working tea factories along the way. Once in Nuwara Eliya the guests can visit Victoria Park, Greogory Lake, Old post office and explore the colonial British charm.

Board the world-famous hill country train from Nuwara Eliya to Ella.

On the way back down from the mountains head towards Yala with a stop along the way to Admire Ravan Falls. Arrive in Yala in time for an afternoon safari to spot leopards, elephants and other exotic wildlife. For guests that like to stay closer to nature a glamping option is available in the heart of the Yala sanctuary.

On the way to sunny beaches in the south of the country visit Sithulpawwa monastery and the sacred shrine of Katharagama. The day ends at the arrival of the southern beach resort town of Mirrisa where more adventure awaits.

Spend the day relaxing at the Mirrisa beach and enjoy the costal culture and the sunny beaches.
